OK, not the state – there’s a local trail called “Alaska”, a nice ridge line between Salt Valley and Highway 191. My new helmet video camera yields a ton of supremely boring footage, but this is scenic, and shows what some of the trails around here are like.
Yeah, there’s a big drop off on both sides, but you get used to that kind of exposure here. And, ignore the heavy breathing…. this is at about 5,000 foot elevation.
What is it about bread (and beer) that cats love?
Cadbury’s not big on it, but Mei Mei will pester you whenever bread is around, and actually eat a small piece if you give one to her.
(p.s. the bag is half plastic, half paper, so perfectly safe)
On a neighbour’s fence last week:
Oh, wait, Halloween is coming…. but when this is the very first decoration you see, it’s just weird.
When you get back from a trip, cats either ignore you for a day, or crave extra attention….. no question about our two. Extra play time and belly rubs were the order of the day.
