Drywall is all in; needs to be plastered, but sure makes things look different: The bare plywood is where the front door will go, end of hallway; future kitchen on right.

Windows! And finished trim. The front door is being built, so there’s a blank plywood insert to seal off the inside for now. The windows in the master bath are glass block, which is why they look odd (they have a protective sheet on them for now). Glass block is nice in a bathroom – …

Day 69

It’s a roof! And the start of siding – the wood in the gables, plus all of the wood trim around the roof. Inside the wiring is about half done, and the plumbing has begun (including a hose bib on back and another on the side).

Day 64

Installation of the HVAC system: all the ductwork (both supply and return) is in the ceiling. If you’re in a technical field, you get used to talking with people, and within 5 minutes you know if they’re competent or not.
