Pininfarina is an old-school Italian design company. They’ve designed just about every Ferrari since I’ve been born; as well as other cars like Alfa Romeos, and when someone like Cadillac or Volvo need a car that looks good, that’s who they call. Basically, if you want a car to look good, you go to Pininfarina and they’ll design it for you. Sadly they’re on hard times these days; people are more concerned with gas mileage than style, and the Italian economy isn’t exactly in good shape.
But what is really sad is when Pininfarina is designing Coca-Cola machines. This is in our local Wendy’s:
