Trees are all down; here’s the new view out the front:
The trees they cut down were all elms; apparently several of them were diseased, and were going to be coming down one way or another.
So I was looking at the view Friday, and wondered – there’s a bike trail up on the top of that cliff somewhere; so in theory, there’d be a good view of our house now. So on Saturday, I went to check it out. Most of the trail is back from the cliff edge (probably a wise decision) but there are some places you can see town:
